Medium Van (Renault Traffic) From £55/hr

The medium van is our smallest option and works perfectly for single-room moves, small flat relocations, and single-item collections. It is easier to park in London’s tight streets and side roads, which makes it ideal for Central and Inner London moves.

The Luton van is the workhorse of London house removals. The entire load space sits above the rear wheels unlike panel vans, there are no internal wheel arches eating into your loading space. This makes it the most efficient van for moving large volumes of belongings.

A Luton van is the right choice for most 3-bedroom house moves in London. It provides 4.0 m of load length with no internal wheel arch intrusions, giving you the most usable loading space. Our Luton van starts from £75/hr with a 2-hour minimum.

A Luton van holds approximately 60 to 80 standard moving boxes along with the furniture for a 2 to 3 bedroom home. The internal dimensions are 4.0 m long × 2.0 m wide × 2.2 m high.

A large van (3.3 m long, 1.94 m high) has internal wheel arches that reduce usable load space. A Luton van (4.0 m long, 2.2 m high) has no internal wheel arches, the full floor area is usable. The Luton also provides 70 cm more length and 26 cm more height. For moves beyond a 1-bed flat, a Luton van is almost always more efficient.

In almost every case, a bigger van is more cost-effective than two trips. The second trip means the driver travels back to your original address, loads again, and travels to the new address adding 1.5 to 3 hours to your total bill. The hourly difference between a large van and a Luton van (£10/hr) is far less than the cost of a second trip.
